During the last 24 hours (March 13-14, 2020) IDRApoll (www.idrapoll.com), an online survey panel part of IDRA Research & Consulting, has conducted a survey to measure the awareness of Albanian citizens regarding the situation of COVID-19.
From the results of this survey, what is immediately noticeable is the fact that citizens appear convinced to follow the strong quarantine measures taken by the government.
About 79% of the population in the Tirana-Durres area respond that in the next 10 days they will be completely isolated at home and can only go out for emergencies. This response is slightly lower in other cities in the country where only 68% of the population seems ready to isolate themselves for the next 10 days.
Results are urban representative in the age group of 18-54 years. The number of respondents via CAWI – Computer-Assisted Web Interviewing, via www.idrapoll.com, is 438 people.
The margin of error for this survey is + – 4% with a 95% confidence interval.
