During the first week of April, IDRApoll (www.idrapoll.com), an online survey panel powered by IDRA Research and Consulting, raised a question about the confidence of Albanian consumers in the foods they consume.
Based on the results, there exists a distrust of the Albanian consumer in relation to what he consumes.
More specifically, 53% “mostly disagree” with the statement “I trust the safety of the food I consume” while 37% express that they “totally disagree”. Only 2% of the respondents “fully agree” with the above statement.
From the data analysis it is noted that this dissemination of opinion is relatively the same in terms of age, gender and standard of living.
The results are nationally representative for the age of 18-54 years. The number of respondents by CAWI – Computer-assisted web interviewing, via www.idrapoll.com, is 500 people.
The margin of error for this survey is + – 4% with a confidence interval of 95%.
